Dear Ms Donnelly
As my father has passed away to-day, I wish to extend to you and all stratas of your staff my sincerest appreciation for the loving care, support and devotion that you, and your predecessor have afforded Arthur Petersen and our families.
It was obvious to me from my first visit when I was provided the opportunity of inspecting your services that my father would be extremely cared for and the following almost four weeks bore this out conclusively.
There is no doubt that your staff acts professionally and empathically towards the residents and their visitors. You truly place the emphasis on "caring" in its most humane meaning and "home" in it most family orientated context. It was so encouraging to know you all, to place our father and grandfather in your unstinting diligence and custody, especially for us at this most blessed time of the year we call Christmas.
I for one thoroughly enjoyed those morning sessions of therapy and entertainment, and believe that the organisers of this aspect of your work "deserve a medal". Those programs set the mood for stimulating the appetite and allowing visitors like myself to assist my father in having his midday meal. The orderlies were so bright and displaying concern in each of their routines, especially the "tea lady"; the nursing staff were so committed and understanding of one’s emotional needs, and we feel that we can include the evening sisters amongst our best friends. Even the yardman would say "hello".
I have no doubt about the successful outcome of your accreditation next year.
Please accept this appreciation from us all, but I must let my father have the final word which he asserted within the first week of his admission:
"They are a good crew here, Allan, most attentive"

Dear Marie,
My father would like to place on record our deepest appreciation of the care you and your staff at Clermont showed to my mother, Enid Forsyth.
Naturally we were upset at her passing, but we know she was at peace and died with grace.
The kindness you showed during Mum’s stay with you was never taken for granted and the entire family knew that Enid was in the best of hands.
We are also very appreciative of the kindness and friendly welcome all the staff showed to my father George, and he wishes to express his heartfelt thanks also.
The only days he did not visit Mum during her stay was when he himself was in Ryde Hospital on 2 occasions.
Would you please thank all of the staff for doing an outstanding job during Mum’s residence with you, and we wish all at Clermont our good wishes.

Our grateful thanks for the exceptional care and friendship given to Dad and Grandad (Jack Findlater) during his stay at Clermont. Dad loved the Trivia Days, the Ballroom Dancing and the musical events, the chats with staff, and reminiscence of days gone by.
Everyone at Clermont contributed to making his last year as enjoyable as possible. Thank you all, it meant a great deal to know he was in such kind and capable hands.
